Role Summary
- Arcades inaugural Associate Product Manager (APM) program is designed for individuals with extraordinary talent and ambition who want to build at the frontier of AI and consumer experience.
- As an APM, you will be embedded deeply within our product team and work alongside leadership, engineers, designers, and AI researchers to launch category-defining experiences.
- APMs at Arcade will own critical products from day one, prototyping novel workflows, defining product strategy, and driving cross-functional execution at the speed of a high-velocity early-stage startup.
What You'll Do
- Design and launch work that has real-world impact, cultural visibility, and end-to-end ownership, shaping an entirely new consumer category and product paradigm
- Own end-to-end product workflows, from ideation to launch, including user research, technical scoping, and post-launch iteration
- Collaborate closely with engineers, AI researchers, and designers to integrate cutting-edge models and tools into intuitive, production-ready features
- Design and test agentic workflows, LLM chains, and multimodal model calls to power core user actions
- Run prompt tuning, tool usage evaluations, and comparative model benchmarks
- Prototype, test, and refine generative AI interfaces that make product creation feel magical, personal, and effortless
What We're Looking For
- Unconventional and extraordinary talent proven in AI, engineering, design, startups, research, or unexpected fields like sports, arts, etc.
- Technically fluent builders comfortable reading source code, working in notebooks, and debugging eval pipelines
- Agents and LLM tinkerers with experience building agentic workflows in personal, research, or production settings
- Deeply curious AI thinkers especially across LLMs, diffusion models, vector search, tool use, and prompt evaluation
- Clear thinkers and communicators who bring structure to ambiguity and can engage engineers, researchers, and designers alike
- High-agency operators who move fast, take ownership, and bias toward impact
- Tasteful, low-ego teammates who bring humility, energy, and judgment to every interaction
What You Bring
- A background in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a similar field
- Experience building or shipping products: personal projects, internships, startups, or open-source contributions all count
- Familiarity with modern AI systems and infrastructure: LLMs, multimodal models, vector databases, or agent frameworks
- A strong product sense and attention to user experience: you care deeply about making products that feel magical and intuitive
- Clear thinking, fast learning, and a deep curiosity about the future of design, manufacturing, and creativity
