Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop product operations teams across Payroll Core and Experience verticals aligned with company mission and OKRs.
  • Drive initiatives to improve accuracy, automation, and scalability of global payroll cycles across engines and customer segments.
  • Translate business objectives into operational strategies, systems, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to deliver self-service payroll features and workflows scalable from SMB to Enterprise.
  • Ensure tailored payroll experiences for key personas optimizing workflows at each growth stage.
  • Oversee design and implementation of systems reducing manual hours and improving error resolution.
  • Ensure readiness for enterprise clients including scaling processing capacity, reporting performance, and compliance.
  • Guide teams to prioritize payroll-related challenges to inform product direction.
  • Lead global go-to-market and rollout strategies for new payroll features ensuring adoption and quality.
  • Champion a culture of root-cause analysis and long-term solution design to reduce errors and strengthen reliability.
  • Define, monitor, and communicate key operational metrics ensuring accountability and transparency.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in product operations, product management, or related roles bridging product, engineering, and operations.
  • 2+ years building and leading high-performing teams in a product-driven tech company.
  • Proven ability to design and scale operational processes for SMB and enterprise clients.
  • Experience leading automation initiatives, no-touch workflows, or large-scale rollouts across markets.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Excel/Sheets, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems, HRIS integrations, or compliance-critical SaaS products preferred.
  • Experience working across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Skilled in GTM readiness and global rollouts driving adoption across regions.
  • Problem-focused with excellent prioritisation, stakeholder management, and organisational design skills.
  • General technical knowledge of software development and data flows (APIs, integrations, sync engines) is a plus.
