Responsibilities

  • Own the Setup Experience strategy, covering first-time onboarding and ongoing configuration
  • Design AI-first patterns guiding users through setup and agentic workflows
  • Represent Setup Experience in company-wide leadership and planning discussions
  • Define product standards for setup, messaging, sequencing, error handling, and more
  • Connect onboarding decisions to business outcomes such as activation, conversion, and retention
  • Partner across teams to influence roadmaps and company direction
  • Uphold rigor in every detail, including default states, loading, error, and success messages

Requirements

  • Experience as part of a SaaS leadership team with 5+ years in product roles
  • At least 3 years owning growth, onboarding, or activation domains
  • Proven track record shipping onboarding flows that convert sign-ups into returning customers
  • Product decisions that directly influenced revenue, retention, or customer success
  • Ability to translate vague feedback into clear, intuitive flows
  • Experience scaling teams while maintaining high quality and speed
  • Strong attention to UX details such as empty states, defaults, and microcopy
  • Hands-on approach engaging with customers to translate feedback into product improvements
