About the Role

  • Own the strategy and execution of product-driven growth across Calm's direct-to-consumer business.
  • Lead initiatives focused on user acquisition, activation, conversion flows, lifetime value, and reducing churn.
  • Combine data-driven experimentation, user empathy, and cross-functional leadership.

What You’ll Do

Growth Strategy & Roadmapping

  • Define and drive growth strategy across the full funnelβ€”user acquisition, activation, engagement, and monetization.
  • Set goals and own roadmap balancing quick wins with long-term scalable levers.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Lifecycle, Partnerships, and Finance to align growth work with business objectives.

Experimentation & Optimization

  • Lead a high-velocity experimentation pipeline to drive conversion and monetization.
  • Analyze A/B test results and translate learnings into action.
  • Monitor key business metrics including installs, conversion, LTV/CAC, churn.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Be accountable for core business metrics and represent progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Content, and Data Science to deliver growth features and infrastructure.
  • Write detailed PRDs, define success metrics, and drive disciplined execution.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Leverage user research, behavioral data, and market trends to understand user needs and barriers.
  • Incorporate insights from behavioral science, habit formation, and gamification to shape high-retention experiences.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of product management experience with strong experience in consumer growth or lifecycle roles.
  • Proven success in scaling subscription-based mobile products through experimentation and funnel optimization.
  • Deep fluency in mobile UX, freemium-to-paid conversion models, and customer retention best practices.
  • Highly data literate; comfortable with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, and writing SQL for analysis.
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on executor comfortable setting vision and driving delivery.
  • Clear communicator and influential cross-functional partner.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with bias for action and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice To Have

  • Experience in mental health, wellness, fitness, or habit-building platforms.
  • Background in creator or community-based products.
  • Exposure to behavioral psychology or gamification tactics for user engagement.
