Responsibilities
- Maintain Card Schemes Issuing Program activities and deploy strategic initiatives
- Maintain existing internal Issuing Programs and Card Scheme mandates
- Investigate and resolve cardholder disputes and chargebacks in compliance with card network rules and timelines
- Review and analyze transaction data, customer statements, and supporting documentation to determine the legitimacy of claims
- Monitor dispute aging and ensure timely responses to avoid financial losses due to missed deadlines
- Maintain ongoing relationship and weekly calls with internal and external vendors and stakeholders include but not limited to Product, DevOps, Processing, Service Delivery, Banking, Risk, Chargeback, Customer support, Reconciliations, Finance teams
- Coordinate daily operations with relevant stakeholders
- Manage external partners relationship
- Ensure Program compliance with local regulators and scheme rules
- Creating the reporting and dispute handling procedures and follow them up
- Determine and describe the need for improvements; communicating them internally and externally (with the respective providers)
- To implement card monitoring anti-fraud rules and follow up to the fraud trends
- Develop and execute fraud prevention and detection strategies tailored to BaaS products (e.g., virtual accounts, card issuing, payments)
- Monitor transactional data and behavioral patterns to detect suspicious activities and emerging fraud typologies.
- Conduct detailed investigations into complex fraud cases, including first-party, third-party, and synthetic identity fraud.
- Supporting ad-hoc projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field
- Strong knowledge and background within the online payments' industry with a focus on the issuing sector
- Familiarity with card network dispute guidelines (Visa/Mastercard)
- Proven experience in successfully managing or launching new innovative products
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate and interpret complex data
- Proven +3 years of experience in working as a Card Program manager, project manager, business analyst, product manager, or similar roles
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Passionate about card industry
- Experience working with internal and external partners to meet project goals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent English, any additional language is a plus
