Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and own the strategy for the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with business goals and continuous improvement
- Lead and improve customer claim management processes to deliver an excellent customer experience while ensuring efficient collaboration with the supply chain
- Define, monitor, and optimize supplier quality and the cost of quality metrics, driving accountability and transparency
- Validate and optimize the first production, ensuring technical excellence and consistent mass production quality
- Own root cause analysis and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve non-conformances sustainably
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Customer Excellence to ensure product quality and process efficiency
- Provide internal and external leadership in quality methodologies, influencing a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving
- Ensure compliance with Emma’s quality standards and local regulations, including safety, environmental, and social compliance requirements
Requirements
- Have a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field
- Experience in quality management, supply chain operations, or production environments, with a track record of improving processes and managing supplier quality
- Self-starter who takes full ownership of projects and drives initiatives independently
- Positive mindset with a continuous improvement approach, capable of finding out-of-the-box solutions to complex problems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions (e.g., root cause analysis, FMEA)
- Enjoy working with cross-functional teams (R&D, Procurement, Operations, and Customer Excellence) while influencing and shifting mindsets toward quality ownership
- Able to balance customer-centricity with business requirements, making pragmatic, business-relevant decisions
- Strong communication skills in English (other EU languages are a plus), with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external suppliers
