Responsibilities
- Write clear, basic feature specifications: whatβs being built, whoβs doing it, acceptance criteria, dependencies.
- Maintain and improve product tooling and ticket workflows: triage tickets, apply correct labels, ensure backlog is healthy and prioritised.
- Coordinate the product backlog: ensure tickets are groomed, labelled, linked to epics, ready for dev.
- Support the product team by tracking/updating status, creating reports, and helping PMs stay on track.
- Manage submission of WBSO / R&D-related documentation (or other relevant compliance/funding process): gather data, write up required forms, coordinate with finance/legal.
- Define and document standard processes/templates for specs, ticketing, hand-offs.
- Act as a process improvement champion: identify friction in how product gets done, propose and implement solutions.
- Potentially liaise with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations, finance) to ensure alignment and smooth hand-off.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) in business, engineering, product management, or similar.
- 2-4 years of experience in a product, business operations, project coordination or product-ops role inside a product company.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong written communication skills (youβll produce specs, forms, documentation).
- Comfortable in a ticketing-tool environment (Jira preferred) and familiar with agile workflows.
- Self-starter who can spot process issues and help drive them.
- Fluent in English.

Preferred
- Exposure to R&D/funding/compliance processes (WBSO or similar) or willingness to learn.
