Your Mission
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one of Engineβs most strategic product lines.
- Lead a team of product managers and collaborate across engineering, design, partnerships, compliance, and go-to-market to launch and scale a best-in-class fintech experience.
What You'll Do
- Lead Vision and Strategy for the overarching fintech play at Engine.
- Scale Platforms for Spend Management, Controls, and Billing. Guide the development of scalable product systems that simplify financial management complexity, including interfaces for spend limit settings, access control, transaction monitoring, balance viewing, and payments execution. Partner with design, engineering, and data to ship elegant, performant tools suitable for startups and enterprises.
- Empower and Align a High-Performing PM Team. Manage and mentor PMs, ensuring clarity, autonomy, and support to drive outcomes. Coordinate across product verticals, engineering, compliance, and customer teams to align strategy, surface tradeoffs, and ensure execution. Serve as connective tissue for a unified customer experience vision into a scalable delivery engine.
- Champion Continuous UX Improvement Through Insight and Rigor. Drive structured research, funnel analysis, customer feedback, and operational metrics to diagnose pain points and prioritize improvements. Ensure experiences earn customer trust and drive business results.
What Youβll Bring to Engine
- Experience: 7+ years in product management, including 2+ years in people management or group PM role; fintech, card products, or payments experience preferred.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of payments, issuing, card network operations, or expense management systems.
- Leadership: Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and launching financial products at scale.
- Customer Obsession: Strong focus on solving customer problems with excellent UX instincts and analytical skills.
- Tech Fluency: Comfortable working with technical teams, APIs, and fintech infrastructure.
- Mindset: Hands-on, collaborative builder excited to scale new products from the ground up.
Compensation
- Base Pay Range $190,000 - $240,000 USD.
- Compensation packages include base salary, equity, and/or variable pay.
