Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for the Buy team, including ecommerce features like cart, checkout, orders, payments, tax, saved addresses, and accounts
  • Lead migration of core Buy capabilities from Classic to New Platform delivering parity and improved experience
  • Collaborate with engineering on upgrades that are secure, performant, and extensible
  • Improve conversion, repeat purchase, and customer experience through iterative test-and-learn delivery
  • Support growth by enabling easy reordering, project management, multi-channel engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing friction, fixing bugs, optimizing flow, and supporting cost savings in fulfilment and servicing
  • Collaborate across eCommerce end-to-end experiences with internal teams
  • Represent Buy team in planning, OKRs, strategic initiatives, and cross-platform alignment

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, ideally with senior eCommerce, fulfilment, or checkout experience
  • Experience in B2C and B2B with understanding of differing user expectations and operations
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce tech stacks including payment gateways, order management, tax/localisation, accounts, fulfilment workflows
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams shipping complex platform improvements
  • Confidence with data, A/B testing, funnel optimisation, service metrics, and financial impact modeling
  • Excellent product instincts with detail orientation and strategic vision
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to build buy-in and alignment
  • Clear communication and storytelling to explain trade-offs and priorities
  • Customer obsession and focus on real user needs
  • Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and independent execution

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with third-party fulfilment or eCommerce partners such as payment processors, tax, or checkout vendors
  • Familiarity with global tax handling, invoices, and compliance standards for eCommerce
  • Experience launching products internationally or with multi-currency markets
  • Comfort with legacy systems, platform migrations, or infrastructure modernization
