Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Purchase squad 1 defining how customers add items to cart, complete checkout, and pay with confidence.
- Drive optimization of conversion rates through better UX, reliability, and performance across all payment and checkout experiences.
- Lead initiatives to expand and localize payment options (e.g., BNPL, digital wallets, invoicing) while ensuring compliance, trust, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and scale add-ons (like insurance, extended warranties, or upsells) that enhance value for customers and revenue for refurbed.
- Use data, experimentation, and qualitative research to identify pain points, test hypotheses, and iterate quickly for measurable impact.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to define system-level requirements, ensuring checkout performance, stability, and extensibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in checkout, payments, or e-commerce purchase flows.
- Deep understanding of payment processing, fraud prevention, and checkout UX best practices.
- Proven success improving conversion rates, payment reliability, and user trust through data-driven experimentation.
- Experience managing third-party payment providers (PSPs), integrations, and compliance-related initiatives.
- Technical understanding of payment APIs, transaction flows, and error handling, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, commercial, and compliance teams.
- Analytical mindset 1 comfortable defining KPIs, running a/bs, interpreting funnel data, and making decisions based on insights.
