About the Role
- Lead onboarding and safety initiatives for account management as a strategic tool for platform growth while maintaining user safety and trust.
- Work at the intersection of user experience, regulatory compliance, and community health.
- Protect vulnerable users and enable seamless platform access for creators and viewers worldwide.
- Role requires deep expertise in trust & safety product development including age assurance, parental controls, and compliance.
- Balance user friction with necessary protections to ensure a safe space.
- Can be based out of San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Irvine, or New York City.
You Will
- Own and develop account-related features driving growth and user safety across all segments.
- Design and implement user flows for age assurance, parental controls, and passwordless authentication.
- Ensure compliance with global safety and health regulations like COPPA, GDPR-Age, UK Age Appropriate Design Code.
- Lead strategy for age verification and minor protection features.
- Balance user friction with data collection for optimized safety and growth.
- Drive platform health through strategic account management impacting millions.
- Partner with community product, design, engineering, legal, policy, trust & safety, and data teams for solutions.
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable product specs and user experiences.
You Have
- 8+ years product management experience with 4+ years in trust & safety, community health, or user protection on consumer platforms.
- Proven track record in authentication systems, content moderation, user protection, and community health at scale.
- Deep understanding of online safety regulations and compliance across jurisdictions.
- Able to balance platform growth, user trust, safety, and compliance priorities.
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives with policy, legal, trust & safety, and community health teams.
- Strong comprehension of user behavior and safety needs across segments and age groups.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leadership on safety-critical decisions.
Bonus Points
- MS/MA or MBA in tech or business-related field.
- Background in authentication or identity verification systems.
- Hands-on experience with age assurance or minor protection frameworks at scale.
- Experience implementing child safety compliance frameworks like COPPA or GDPR-Age.
- Proficiency in SQL and data-driven decision making.
