About the role

• Work closely with a designer and engineers to build Overstory's core product capabilities.
• Lead product development process, define customer problems, and build consensus with stakeholders.
• Work in agile manner, learn from customers, iterate quickly, and balance scalable future with fast delivery.
• Perform hands-on product management activities including writing problem statements and defining success metrics.
• Define team roadmaps, contribute to product strategy, and support internal teams during delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
• Experience with B2B products.
• Strong passion for understanding customer problems and leading customer discovery.
• Obsessed with shipping fast to learn faster.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading product strategy and roadmapping sessions and building consensus.
• Proven ability to balance customer needs with engineering and business constraints to create solutions.
• Based on the East Coast of the US or in Europe as specified.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with machine learning-based, AI, or data-heavy products.
• Knowledge of GIS technologies.
• Experience working on web products used primarily on phones or tablets with proactive mobile thinking.
• Experience localizing products for worldwide audiences.
