Responsibilities

  • Optimize and expand local fiat support capabilities for global customers to deposit and pay with local currency
  • Optimize payments UX to enhance conversion
  • Own relationships with banks and payment gateways globally
  • Work with brokerage team to enable trading in local currencies
  • Build an industry-leading risk and anti-fraud function by collaborating with experts to develop strategies
  • Create and execute product roadmap, monitoring trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvements
  • Implement and maintain systems that detect and prevent fraudulent activities using advanced analytics, machine learning, and real-time monitoring
  • Assess and analyze impact of features on key KPIs and user engagement
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, operations, compliance and other teams to design fraud detection and prevention tools
  • Work with external vendors on fraud protection opportunities
  • Conduct root cause analysis of fraud incidents and develop corrective action plans
  • Partner with Risk Operations team to design new automation/tools to enhance effectiveness
  • Manage timelines and coordinate multiple product roadmaps to ensure timely feature releases

Requirements

  • Driven, curious and proactive with strong business acumen
  • 5-8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on payments and fraud
  • Payment rail knowledge (cards, ACH, Apple Pay, SEPA, Faster Payments) and/or experience with risk and fraud teams utilizing data science
  • Experience supporting new rails or currencies for a global consumer fintech
  • Experience in payments, fraud prevention, risk management or related field in consumer financial services, crypto experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data and trends
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams and managing timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to craft feature requirement documents and work with stakeholders and management
  • Detail and design oriented, focused on end-user experience
  • Proven track record of shipping products in technical environments and daily collaboration with developers
