- Combine hands-on leadership with strategic oversight guiding multidisciplinary teams.

- Write specs, tune systems, mentor designers, and enhance team output quality.
- Balance economy, refine live events, and design new player experiences.
- Deliver player impact and business performance results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Game Director and creative leadership to lead design of features, systems, and pillars.
- Distill high-level objectives into clear design and product specifications.
- Set goals and hold quality bar for a cross-disciplinary subteam.
- Provide design direction and feedback to level up team output.
- Manage and grow designers via coaching and mentorship.
- Coordinate results across disciplines, pods, and leadership levels.
- Build expertise in genre, audience, and feature set and share insights.
Requirements
- Strong design sensibilities across multiple domains with expertise in systems, content, or experiential design.
- Understanding of design principles, metagame systems, economies, and player psychology.
- Holistic product and business view capable of solving for KPIs with system designs.
- Able to synthesize feedback from teams and playtests into product insights and iterate.
- Clear communication and vision setting to align team and resolve conflicts.
- Proven experience with games as a service, live operations, and design processes.
- Strong leadership and remote management skills, mentoring design teams.
- Capable of driving impact balancing leadership and management duties.
- Extensive experience with merge or tower defense genres preferred.
