Areas of Accountability

  • Design and implement tools, processes, and analytics for forecasting, replenishment, and inventory decisions.
  • Build and optimize core processes and frameworks for demand planning and inventory management.
  • Ensure team operates with clarity, accuracy, and speed.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Operations, Finance, and Tech for aligned planning decisions.
  • Lead scalable systems and reporting development for data-driven insights.
  • Shape and manage the team; drive continuous improvement globally.

Strategic Planning & Process Development

  • Build, refine, and scale demand planning and inventory management processes.
  • Create tools, templates, and reporting structures for faster decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align business goals with planning frameworks.
  • Drive evolution of planning processes by simplifying and standardizing.

Tool & System Implementation

  • Lead improvement and integration of planning and allocation tools.
  • Work with Tech and BI to bring planning tools in-house.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve accuracy and team bandwidth.

Operational Leadership

  • Establish offshore/onshore support model for forecasting and analytics.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration balancing speed and precision.
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate insights into strategic actions.

Sales & Operational Planning

  • Own and evolve the Sales & Operational Planning cadence.
  • Drive visibility into inventory risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure clear, timely visibility into forecast accuracy and inventory health.

Analytics & Business Insights

  • Develop dashboards and reporting to highlight key performance drivers.
  • Analyze trends and recommend adjustments to improve margins and efficiency.
  • Turn complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or analytics with systems-building.
  • Proven track record transforming or building processes.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing complex tools and systems.
  • Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing needs.

Preferred Experience

  • MBA or similar postgraduate degree.
  • Experience in startups or high-growth companies.
  • Experience in apparel or consumer products industries.
  • Experience with ERP (e.g., Netsuite), BI (e.g., Looker) or demand planning tools (e.g., Anaplan).

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, onsite role requiring presence at Calabasas office.
