Role Overview
- Own the customer data asset and build the data ingestion, storage, and Customer Data Platform (CDP) powering our AI strategy.
- Work closely with technical teams and drive alignment across stakeholders.
- Manage a high-impact role with strong ownership and responsibility.
Ecommerce Team Responsibilities
- Ingest, unify, and store all customer data.
- Bridge merchant stores and helpdesk with AI products.
- Build a proprietary CDP ingesting millions of data points in real time.
- Transform data into clear and actionable context for users.
Working Conditions & Expectations

- High autonomy and ownership over vision and execution.
- Hands-on builder who writes specifications and designs data flows.
- Define retention policies and challenge architecture choices as needed.
- Decide how customer profiles are stored, displayed, and explained.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver impact.
- Engage regularly with customers to validate ideas and improve the product.
- Partner with engineering teams to evolve the data pipeline.
- Build and scale strategic AI-powered initiatives.
Requirements

- Strong product judgment with clear prioritization.
- Comfortable with technical and business stakeholders and customer interaction.
- Experience with complex systems and product shipping, preferably in startups or early-stage environments.
- Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem and its data model or willingness to learn quickly.
