Responsibilities
- Define and own the strategy for Masabi9s core platform domains, including ABT, EMV, mobile ticketing, the fare engine and our API and integration layer.
- Set clear priorities shaped by customer needs, market trends and competitive awareness.
- Ensure platform strategy directly supports enterprise deal success and delivery excellence.
- Bring a commercial lens to platform decisions, including how we influence and respond to public sector RFPs.
- Own the roadmap across multiple product areas and major customer programmes.
- Balance long-term investment with the needs of large and complex deployments.
- Lead the full product lifecycle, from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration.
- Make portfolio-level trade-offs across platform investment, customer commitments, and long-term technical sustainability.
- Build a strong understanding of Masabi9s markets and customer needs, using this insight to inform platform strategy and investment decisions.
- Stay close to competitors, emerging technologies and industry trends to sharpen priorities and strengthen differentiation.
- Represent Masabi as a senior product voice in selected customer and industry settings, where your experience adds value.
- Track success through adoption, commercial impact and customer outcomes, using data to guide improvement.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver the roadmap, scale and stabilise the platform.
- Represent non-functional requirements with clarity, including SLAs, observability and performance.
- Support stronger quality practices and shared understanding of expected outcomes.
- Treat our API platform and integration layer as first-class products.
- Strengthen the developer and partner experience through improved API coverage, documentation and tooling.
- Support internal and external teams to build effectively on the platform.
- Support go-to-market teams on strategic RFPs and major bids.
- Play a senior product role in large enterprise programmes and implementations.
- Represent Product in conversations with agency and partner stakeholders when needed.
- Lead and develop a team of product managers and product program leads.
- Build an outcome-focused, collaborative product culture that supports learning and accountability.
- Coach emerging leaders and contribute to the broader Product and Engineering leadership team.
Experience
- Leadership experience in product at a highly senior level, owning complex platforms or multi-product portfolios.
- Background in at least one of the following: payments, transit or mobility, fintech, or integration-heavy B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience with enterprise or public sector customers, including RFPs, SLAs and complex delivery environments.
- Experience leading teams of around eight to ten people across multiple products or programmes.
- A track record of driving commercial impact, such as revenue growth, adoption or margin improvement.

- Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, payment flows and non-functional requirements.
- Comfortable balancing long-term product strategy with the needs of large, time-sensitive programmes.
