About the Role
- This is a high-impact, high-ownership opportunity to lead the core product experience at the heart of Spekit: content.
- As the PM for content creation, governance, and AI-powered workflows, youβll shape how thousands of users create, manage, and evolve their critical knowledge β and how our AI systems keep that knowledge fresh, accurate, and actionable.
- Youβll work across content tools, AI agents, enterprise integrations, and foundational platform workflows.
- You'll partner closely with engineering, design, and leadership to build the next generation of contextual enablement, driving strategic decisions that impact the entire product.
You'll own
- Content creation & management: How users create, import, organize, and maintain content in Spekit
- Integrations: Seamless connections with Google Drive, SharePoint, Confluence, Salesforce, and other enterprise tools
- Content governance: AI-powered systems that ensure content quality, freshness, and relevance at scale
- AI-powered workflows: Chat interfaces, templates, dynamic generation, and intelligent agents that detect conflicts and enable human-in-the-loop updates
- Analytics & insights: How users understand content usage, gaps, and effectiveness
- First-time user experience: Making onboarding intuitive, engaging, and sticky
The Role Is Built for Someone Who
- Thrive on ownership and initiative - You see gaps, build conviction through research, and drive solutions from idea to launch without needing constant direction
- Bring strong opinions, loosely held - You come to the table with research-backed recommendations but stay curious and adapt based on feedback
- Communicate with clarity and impact - Whether writing specs, aligning the CEO, or collaborating across timezones, you keep stakeholders informed and aligned
- Balance strategic vision with execution - You zoom out to understand the big picture and zoom in to work through technical tradeoffs with engineering
- Embrace startup pace - You ship thoughtfully but quickly, prioritize ruthlessly, and understand that done is better than perfect
- Stay relentlessly customer-focused - You talk to users, synthesize feedback, and let real problems drive your roadmap
What You'll Do
- Own the content management roadmap - Drive the strategy for how customers create, organize, govern, and maintain their knowledge base, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences
- Shape AI-powered governance capabilities - Design intelligent workflows where AI agents detect conflicts, suggest updates, and enable seamless human-in-the-loop approvals
- Turn insights into ruthless prioritization - Use product analytics, customer conversations, competitive research, and qualitative feedback to make clear decisions about what to build and why
- Align cross-functional stakeholders - Communicate product vision, roadmap decisions, and tradeoffs clearly to the CEO, GTM teams (CSMs, AEs, product marketing), and other product squads
- Partner deeply with engineering and design - Collaborate with your engineering manager and designer to translate ambiguous problems into elegant, scalable solutions and understand technical tradeoffs
- Drive outcomes, not just outputs - Own success metrics and business impact; ensure your work moves the needle on customer engagement, retention, and expansion
- Collaborate across timezones - Work effectively with members of the engineering team that are Pakistan-based through strong async communication, clear documentation, and thoughtful planning
- Travel occasionally - This role requires occasional travel (mostly to Denver, CO)
What You Bring
- 6+ years of product management experience (ideally with experience in a senior level role) with meaningful ownership of complex B2B SaaS products at growth-stage or fast-moving companies; you've shipped both 0β1 features and iterative optimizations in environments where speed, customer feedback, and outcomes drive impact
- Strong product instincts and user empathy - You have a sharp sense for what makes a product intuitive and delightful; you understand information architecture, workflow design, and how to reduce cognitive load
- AI product experience or strong willingness to learn - Comfort working on AI-powered features (generative AI, RAG, ML-powered automation, human-in-the-loop workflows, prompts, evals); you don't need to be an AI expert, but you're curious and capable of partnering with technical teams
- Content management or knowledge platform experience is a plus - Previous work on CMS tools, knowledge bases, documentation platforms, or enablement products (especially authoring, governance, or workflow features) accelerates your impact but isn't required
- Data-driven decision making - Comfortable with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap); you blend qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform roadmap decisions and measure success
- Systems thinking meets simplicity obsession - You can map complex enterprise workflows and distill them into elegant, user-friendly experiences; you deeply understand user personas, pain points, and real-world contexts
- Technical collaboration skills - Able to work closely with engineering teams, understand technical tradeoffs, evaluate feasibility, and have informed discussions about architecture, integrations, and platform decisions; familiarity with modern SaaS technologies (APIs, MCP Servers, browser extensions, search infrastructure) is a plus
- Exceptional communication and alignment skills - Strong written and verbal communicator who can clearly articulate product vision, strategy, and tradeoffs to diverse audiences (CEO, GTM, engineering, design)
- Ownership mindset and bias for action - You take initiative, see gaps and drive solutions autonomously, build conviction through research, and make informed decisions without needing constant direction
- Startup velocity and resilience - You thrive under pressure and pace; you prioritize ruthlessly, ship thoughtfully but quickly, and embrace the scrappiness required in a fast-growing startup
