Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, cross-team, multi-product initiatives requiring coordination across Unanet’s product portfolio
  • Research, define, and design requirements and scope through epics, user stories, and diagrams
  • Partner with Product Managers to understand the ‘Why’ and own the ‘What’ in detailed user stories
  • Validate functionality and workflows to solve the right customer problems
  • Utilize customer profiles and user personas to deliver valuable functionality
  • Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to execute product roadmap by planning and prioritizing
  • Collaborate with engineers in sprint activities, providing relevant user stories and guiding estimation
  • Manage product backlog intake including grooming and prioritization; facilitate iteration planning
  • Increase refinement velocity ensuring user stories are well-defined and ready for development
  • Lead integration efforts with analytics, GrowthStudio product, CRM systems, and strategic integrations
  • Balance feature work and ticket-based work, triage, troubleshoot, and re-create tickets with development and QA
  • Mentor and support less experienced Product Owners to elevate standards and best practices

Your First 90 Days

  • First 30 days: Understand product capabilities and roadmap, refine user stories, work with Scrum Master and Lead Engineers
  • First 60 days: Work with stakeholders and Product Management to redefine team roadmap and solidify deliverables
  • First 90 days: Build success plans, guide Scrum Team execution, collaborate with Product Owners to groom work backlogs, mentor others

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software product owner experience in Agile environments delivering complex initiatives
  • Background in accounting, finance, or ERP systems with understanding of financial processes and enterprise analytics
  • Experience with AI in mature products such as predictive analytics and workflow automation
  • Proficient in APIs, data integrations, technical architecture, and integration patterns
  • Strong planning, execution, communication, visualization, and technical writing skills
  • Effective collaborator with stakeholders to refine business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Highly organized, accountable, able to work under tight deadlines
  • Experience with JIRA and Agile tools

Your Differentiators

  • Experience serving GovCon or other project-based businesses preferred
  • Experience applying AI in enterprise B2B software environments
