Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Spring Health's unified notifications platform.
  • Translate notifications charter into a clear multi-year platform plan.
  • Define logical communication models, lifecycle states, and data contracts for members, providers, and covered lives.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture to consolidate Rotom, Twilio, Iterable, and event pipelines into a cohesive platform.
  • Build tooling for Marketing, Implementation, Provider Ops, and Care teams to manage messaging rules independently.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability for delivery reliability.
  • Build operational tooling, including dashboards, success reporting, logs, and remediation switches.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align on communication needs.
  • Communicate tradeoffs, technical constraints, and prioritization decisions to senior stakeholders.

Success Metrics

  • Achieve 99.9% delivery success rate across all notification types.
  • Reduce operational escalations related to notifications.
  • Enable Marketing to launch campaigns faster.
  • Establish reliable monitoring and alerting with clear ownership and workflows.
  • Ensure adoption of unified logical models across the organization for lifecycle messaging.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years product management experience; 3+ years on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
  • Strong technical fluency with event-driven architectures, data contracts, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Experience with communications/notifications platforms such as Iterable preferred.
  • Experience designing and delivering internal tools or self-service admin systems.
  • Proven success driving multi-quarter platform strategy and execution across teams.
  • Strong ability to influence without authority and align cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to simplify complexity and design scalable, governed systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with strong prioritization skills.

Work Location

  • Hybrid role based in New York City, office located at 60 Madison Avenue, with 2-3 days in-office per week.
