Role Overview
- The Personalization & Player Lifecycle product team aims to create smart, adaptive, data-driven player experiences.
- As Senior Product Manager for the Decision Engine, shape the core system powering intelligent decisions across all surfaces.
- Establish product approach for personalization decisioning engine with Data Science, Marketing, Engineering, and Commercial partners.
- Drive clarity on impactful experiences and evaluate build, buy, or partner technology options.
- Set foundation for PlayStation's global player engagement and communication.
Responsibilities
- Develop product vision and strategy focused on relevance, scalability, and speed to value.
- Lead development and delivery of pricing and personalization features using machine learning and predictive modeling.
- Analyze build/acquire/collaborate decisions on system components considering capabilities, expertise, and impact timeline.
- Partner with Data Science to develop and test recommendation models balancing player value and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial to align outcomes, metrics, and use cases.
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements, experimentation plans, and product briefs.
- Lead cross-functional planning and contribute to personalization and lifecycle strategy.
- Champion test-and-learn approach with rapid experimentation and continuous refinement.
- Maintain understanding of market trends in personalization, recommender systems, and customer lifecycle engagement.
What Weβre Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing digital environments.
- Experience with personalization, content discovery, recommender systems, or next-best-action platforms.
- Proven partnership with Data Science and Engineering to deliver machine learning capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to synthesize context, present trade-offs, and drive decisions across stakeholders.
- Strong product intuition and comfort with technical discussions and experimentation methodologies.
- Experience in gaming, streaming, e-commerce, or similar high-scale B2C platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with build/buy/partner frameworks and platform-level architecture evaluations.
- Comfort leading roadmap discussions and influencing strategic and executional levels.
- Experience operating in global or multi-market product environments.
