Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to bring new products to market, working closely with engineering, design, research, operations, finance, and policy teams.
- Use data and customer insights to define requirements, prioritize features, and drive decision-making.
- Write detailed product requirements and gain consensus among stakeholders.
- Oversee execution and delivery, ensuring high-quality implementation and successful product launches.
- Continuously improve products in the field, addressing key challenges for customers and internal teams.
- Engage in technical discussions, understanding trade-offs across hardware, software, firmware, and power systems.
- Identify broader business and organizational challenges and create durable solutions that drive efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience as a technical leader and/or Product Manager with experience dealing directly with hardware or firmware product development (e.g. consumer electronics, vehicles, IoT devices, OS development, etc.).
- Passionate about the vehicles and solutions developed in the space.
- Empathetic, with demonstrated ability to understand customer experiences and a process for doing so.
- Intellectually honest and willing to call out problems to solve them.
- Ownerβs mindset, self-starter who identifies and tackles important challenges.
- Insight-led and data optimized, comfortable using data for problem analysis.
- Drives clarity, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to set direction and make decisions.
- Operates at all levels, driving decision-making with C-suite and technical teams.
Location
- Remote role with requirement for candidates residing in U.S. and expected to travel at least 6 times per year to San Francisco or other US locations.
