Job Summary

  • Measure success of products using a customer-centric approach and standardized models.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of product development processes.
  • Ensure alignment between product, engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Optimize workflows and support data-driven decision-making to achieve product strategy and business outcomes.
  • Understand product management needs, anticipate process breakdowns, and provide tools and insights to partners.

Essential Functions

  • Leadership: Advocate, coach, and motivate team to develop skills and operate efficiently.
  • Training & development: Support new team member training and provide necessary tools and resources.
  • Process optimization: Document, standardize, and improve product management-specific operational processes cross-functionally.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate between product, engineering, design, marketing, and customer success for product operations and processes.
  • Project management: Manage timelines, resources, and dependencies for product operational projects ensuring on-time releases.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Define, develop, and monitor key performance metrics related to operational efficiency and product performance; analyze complex datasets; present findings and recommend strategies to senior leadership.
  • Financial spend and investment tracking: Track product investment spend; report variances between plans and actuals; provide continual status updates to leaders.
  • Customer insights: Develop and maintain customer insights framework for actionable business and product decisions.
  • Risk management: Identify risks from product operations/process KPIs and support mitigation and progress tracking.

Innovate

  • Continuous improvement: Identify and leverage appropriate AI capabilities to improve and automate processes.
  • Leverage AI: Promote usage of AI tools to drive organizational insights and risk visibility.
  • Empower: Guide team on AI use to increase efficiency and potentially eliminate tasks.
  • Product roadmap support: Assist planning and prioritization of product initiatives aligning operations with business goals.
  • Stakeholder communication: Develop and distribute product-related reports, status updates, and presentations ensuring transparency and alignment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Product Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years experience in product operations, product management, or related field.
  • Deep data analysis, visualization, and presentation experience; familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to translate complex data into insights.
  • Strong project management skills managing cross-functional teams and complex workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking skills with strategic business translation of data.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear presentation of complex information.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated collaborative leadership across teams.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and passion for data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of product analytics tools, trends, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile software development.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management tools and platforms.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive change across diverse teams.
  • Prior experience with healthcare operations is a plus.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • 100% remote work.
  • Long-distance or air travel may be necessary.
  • Job requires significant desk work in front of computer monitors.
