The Role

• Own and evolve the core fintech experience underpinning the SaaS platform and e-commerce shop.
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and expandable payment processing capabilities.
• Ensure compliant and clear invoicing for the ordering system.
• Provide clear and comprehensive financial reporting; transparency in money flow for photographers.
• Operate internal accounting system to make business operational.
• Bridge product, engineering, and finance to modernize financial workflows, improve customer experience, ensure operational and regulatory excellence.

Role Description

• Build and evolve the fintech roadmap in close collaboration with engineering and design based on effective quantitative and qualitative discovery and drive execution into impact.
• Drive customer value by improving financial processing including accounting, invoicing, billing, payments and financial reporting usability along the customer workflow (SaaS) and shop (e-commerce).
• Partner with CFO team to ensure accuracy in revenue recognition and accounting workflows by implementing and supporting data integration and integrity.
• Support continuous migration towards modernized architecture and high-trust automated processes while maintaining operational continuity in collaboration with engineering management.
• Champion compliance and product quality (e.g. audit logs, tax handling, PSD2/GDPR, etc.).

Experience & Background

• Minimum 3 years experience in product management with mastery of modern product discovery and delivery methodology in vertical SaaS workflows and e-commerce context.
• Proficiency in payment ecosystems (e.g. Stripe), API-driven data models, integration with accounting tools like DATEV, QuickBooks, or Xero.
• Experience managing diverse monetization models (subscriptions, pay-per-use, hybrid) across multi-currency and cross-border payment environments.
• Experience co-owning complex technical projects and migrations in close collaboration with engineering, UX/design and customer care and success stakeholders.
• Strong analytical financial mindset to derive insights from transaction data and perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies to drive revenue accuracy.
• Excellent communicator skilled at navigating alignment among finance/compliance, engineering and management stakeholders with the ability to build powerful scenarios and business cases efficiently.
