About this team and role

  • In the rapidly advancing world of technology, GenAI and deep learning models are transforming our digital interactions.
  • ODIN, an AI cybersecurity platform, is here to secure these services that are becoming essential to our daily lives.
  • ODIN's mission is simple: identify, fix and prevent security flaws in popular AI services by rewarding security researchers to uncover new types of vulnerabilities in GenAI and help make any product integrating with LLMs safer and more secure.
  • The rise in AI adoption, exemplified by platforms like ChatGPT, highlights the urgent need for security.
  • ODIN fosters a collaborative environment where innovation in security is both recognized and rewarded, ensuring these technologies remain safe and trustworthy.
  • ODIN is a testament to Mozilla's commitment to digital safety and trust.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the vision and strategy for the ODIN product suite to ensure delivery of a high quality product with strong alignment to customer value and enable sales.
  • Manage a team of design and engineering resources to create well-designed, user-centric products that exceed business goals.
  • Seamlessly navigate between high-level strategic thinking and practical implementation, translating big ideas into tangible products.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Marketing, Infrastructure) to develop and go-to-market the ODIN suite meeting business goals while protecting the Mozilla brand.
  • Track and analyze key product metrics to inform decisions and prioritization of features and new products.
  • Clearly articulate product plans, benefits, and outcomes to internal partners, leadership, employees, and users.
  • Stay current with AI and cybersecurity trends and other emerging technologies to drive innovation and grow ODIN’s market position.
  • Manage a small team of researchers and community leaders to maintain and grow the ODIN Bug Bounty program and communicate key insights and jailbreaks externally to drive interest.

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a successful track record, preferably in enterprise products.
  • 5+ years experience in cybersecurity or demonstrable depth of knowledge in the industry.
  • 4+ years of product management leadership, preferably managing engineering leaders.
  • Proven experience building and scaling early stage products based on customer and market insights, finding product market fit and driving growth.
  • Strong understanding of AI threat models and safety concerns, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, model exfiltration, data leakage, and generative model abuse.
  • Ability to define and own product metrics to prioritize roadmap and build confidence in strategy.
  • Comfort representing the product externally via thought leadership, podcasts, conferences, and other platforms.
  • Commitment to values of welcoming differences, being relationship-minded, practicing responsible participation, and having grit.
