Responsibilities
- Define and own the personalization strategy for all key segments, including both geographic and demographic.
- Manage the Localization (L10N)/Internationalization (I18N) Platform, ensuring the foundational technology supports global readiness and expansion.
- Collaborate with Design Research to spearhead efforts in investigating and prioritizing consumer expansion into new locales.
- Implement and optimize Explicit/Implicit Language of Preference (LoP) logic to deliver the right experiences in the right language.
- Drive Translation Quality Assurance processes to maintain high-quality, culturally sensitive product experiences worldwide.
- Lead Feature Prioritization for New Locales/Specialized Segments, ensuring feature parity and compliance across all markets and user groups.
- Partner closely with Core & Personalization Product, Engineering, Data Science, Content, and Legal teams to ensure the successful execution and adoption of the roadmap.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Product Management with at least 2+ years of experience in consumer applications.
- Proven track record of defining and launching successful products that scale globally and address diverse user segments.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of translating complex global and demographic requirements into clear product roadmaps and detailed specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
Preferred Skills
- Experience launching personalized content experiences for kids.
- Deep understanding of L10N/I18N (Localization and Internationalization) platforms, workflows, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience managing products focused on content delivery in multiple languages/locales.
- Experience in the digital health, wellness, or consumer subscription (D2C/B2C) sectors.
- A passion for mindfulness, mental health, and the mission of Headspace.
Location and Work Model
- Role available in San Francisco (hybrid), Los Angeles (remote), New York City (remote), and Seattle (remote).
- Candidates must permanently reside and work full-time in the US and be based in these cities.
- Hybrids work model for San Francisco area: 3 days onsite and the rest remote.
