As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers! Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading one or more cross-functional teams to define and deliver a strategy that helps customers make the most of Monzo.
  • Help build the platform, capabilities and app structure needed to optimise a customer’s in-app experience and engagement.
  • Define the strategy and set a high bar for impact and execution, requiring complex stakeholder alignment across multiple teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Build a product vision and strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with Monzo’s goals.
  • Effectively communicate and inspire people by sharing the right context at the right time.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, research, marketing and other teams to create a strategy and deliver.
  • Define, deliver and measure the impact of customer-focused personalisation and discovery experiences.

Qualifications

  • Seasoned product manager with experience launching world-class products at a fast-growing company.
  • Experience launching a consumer product within an EU market.
  • Data-driven approach with a track record of collaborating with data scientists or machine learning experts.
  • Ability to systematically break down and solve complex problems.
  • Good judgment in complex situations with often no clear right answer.
  • Resilience to challenge the status quo with creative ideas.
  • Effective collaboration with diverse teams across different working styles.
  • Strong storytelling skills to motivate and energize people.
  • Passionate about building value for customers and excited about Monzo’s mission.
  • Intellectually honest about performance and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Fast learner who enjoys sharing knowledge and experience.
