Role Overview

As a fully remote Senior Product Manager, you will own the Algorithmic Execution & Strategy Engine for complex order types and execution algorithms in crypto trading.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the roadmap for Kraken’s Algorithmic Execution & Strategy Engine.
• Design and deliver new execution algorithms such as TWAP, VWAP, Implementation Shortfall, and more.
• Build out the strategy construction interface for professional traders.
• Own the API and FIX protocol specification for programmatic access.
• Define transaction cost analysis and execution quality frameworks.
• Design integration frameworks for AI trading agents.
• Collaborate with Quant Research and Engineering for ML/AI enhancements.
• Engage with institutional clients to translate needs into product requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in electronic or algorithmic trading.
• Deep domain knowledge of execution algorithms and market microstructure.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality trading infrastructure products.
• Experience with institutional or professional trader segments.
• Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in crypto trading and market structures.
• Building or integrating AI/ML-driven execution systems.
• Familiarity with DeFi execution mechanisms.
• Experience with no-code/low-code strategy builders.
