We are looking for a dynamic and strategic contributor who can influence stakeholders across the organization, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead through influence to deliver on a portfolio of high-impact, high-complexity programs and projects.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Operations.
A day in the life of a Staff Product Operations Manager
- Manage a portfolio of R&D programs and projects, ensuring that all aspects of the program are well defined and aligned.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of strategic programs and projects, including defining program-level OKRs, scope, resourcing requirements, milestone timelines, dependency management, risk mitigation, and decision making.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to surface underlying needs and desired outcomes, anticipate and remove obstacles, and drive progress.
- Establish (and model) the standard for the Product Operations craft at Calendly.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration and communication by creating shared understanding and alignment.
- Identify organizational problems and opportunities, then define and lead the programs, processes, and tools needed to help the organization operate effectively and achieve its goals.
What do we need from you?
- 10+ years of product operations or direct program management experience managing high-complexity, high-visibility, high-impact enterprise-wide programs.
- Demonstrated ability in leading programs across a wide range of business and technology-related topics.
- Exceptional leadership and communications skills; proven ability to influence without authority.
- Demonstrated experience managing programs in a remote-first environment.
- B.A. in a business or technical field; M.B.A., P.M.P, or comparable certification a plus.
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
Compensation
Tier 1 Salary Hiring Range: $230,520 - $291,540 USD
Tier 2 Salary Hiring Range: $211,310 - $267,245 USD
Tier 3 Salary Hiring Range: $192,100 - $242,950 USD
Travel
This role requires frequent travel to San Francisco for the first 6-12 months (up to 2-3 times a month for several days at a time).
