Overview
As Sr. Manager of Product Management, you are a leader on the Product Management team that manages a team of product managers. In this broad and varied role, in partnership with teams across the company, you will be responsible for the overall revenue growth and customer retention of Strongroom & AvidAscend. This will include creating a vision and strategy, aligning the company to your vision, delighting customers, and increasing revenue.What youβll do:
- Managing key customersβ needs / delivering on the roadmap
- Single point of accountability to the commercial success of your entire product portfolio / value stream from strategic planning, prioritizing investments, to tactical activities (70/30)
- Build, lead and develop a high performing product management team
- Engage other product leaders and product managers to define, manage, and evangelize the long-term product line strategy and roadmap
- Drive and sponsor, collaborating with Product Marketing, customer & market research, facilitate workshops, and engage with customers to know and passionately advocate for them daily
- Assess and continuously improve the product line through data-driven, agile practices within the larger product and cross-functional teams
- Establish, evaluate and iterate product line investments based on key performance indicators associated to expected results
- Build alignment between technology leadership, product management, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support (at all levels of the company) on the vision and roadmap of your product
- Learn and inject Product Management industry best practices into AvidXchangeβs processes
- Lead the organization through execution of your vision and roadmap.
- Deliver on roadmap initiatives while working with program management, technology, service, growth, and support leadership
- Partner with the UX team to create products that are valuable and usable
What weβre looking for:
- 10+ combined years of experience in product management or business equivalent
- Experience in a people leadership role
- Demonstrated experience developing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
- Practiced in pragmatic marketing or complimentary product management framework
- Highly competitive and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Leading teams and managing product management and delivery in an agile environment
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience required
