The Role
We're hiring Senior, Staff and Principal Product Managers with 5+ years of PM experience with a track record of shipping products they're proud of. You'll own discovery, prioritization, and delivery on a high-leverage area of Monarch's product. A PM role at Monarch requires taking end-to-end responsibility from identifying the opportunity through shipping and iterating in-market. This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership and high autonomy. You won't be coordinating; you'll be building.Below, you'll find more information about the three product areas we're currently hiring for:
Aggregation
- Monarch's value starts with reliable, accurate financial data, and this PM owns the layer that makes it possible.
- Work on bank connections, account sync, transaction normalization, and the pipelines every downstream experience depends on.
- Strong technical fluency matters, not because you'll write code, but because you'll make consequential calls about data architecture, third-party provider tradeoffs, and reliability investments.
- Familiarity with financial data or data platform products is a meaningful advantage.
Core Product
- Nearly every member touches Core Product surfaces every time they open the app: transactions, budget, reports, recurring, accounts, dashboards, goals, forecasting, filters, and retail integrations.
- This role calls for strong consumer instincts, a high bar for craft, and the ability to manage a large, interconnected surface area without losing focus.
AI
- This PM owns the AI-powered experiences where Monarch helps you understand, act on, and stay on top of your money proactively.
- Looking for a builder who has shipped AI-powered features to real users, uses AI daily in their own workflow, and can make sound calls about member value versus where it creates noise.
You'll Thrive Here If You:
- Own a product area end to end, from identifying the opportunity to shipping, iterating, and being accountable for what happens in market.
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear priorities, explicit tradeoffs, and a sequenced path forward.
- Hold a high bar for craft and make decisions using quantitative data, qualitative research, and customer feedback.
- Communicate in a way that is clear, succinct, and proactive across teams.
- Push how we work forward by leveraging new technologies, AI, and workflows.
This Role Isn't The Right Fit If:
- You're not excited to dig into the complexity of personal finance.
- Your primary skill is navigating internal politics.
- You thrive in process-heavy environments.
