WHAT YOU'LL DO AT H1
- Own the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for H1's clinical data product area, balancing customer commitments with long-term platform investment
- Lead, develop, and support a team of 2–4 product managers — running roadmap reviews, facilitating prioritization, and owning their growth and performance
- Drive discovery with clinical stakeholders including physicians, medical affairs leads, and health system buyers to surface unmet needs and validate solutions
- Translate complex clinical workflows and HCP user needs into structured, actionable product requirements for engineering and design
- Partner with data science to bring new clinical datasets, models, and signals into production in ways that are reliable and user-facing
- Define success metrics for your product area and own reporting on engagement, data quality, and clinical user satisfaction
- Establish and maintain team rituals — sprint planning, backlog grooming, roadmap reviews, and retrospectives — and hold the bar on delivery quality
- Represent the product in executive reviews and client-facing conversations as the domain authority for clinical intelligence
- Collaborate with commercial and customer success teams to ensure clinical product investments support retention and expansion goals
- Identify and address gaps in data coverage, interoperability, or clinical workflow alignment that limit adoption or trust in H1's clinical products
ABOUT YOU
- You have a clinical background — through training, practice, or deep embedded experience in clinical health IT — and you have converted that domain expertise into product leadership.
- You are comfortable managing a team through ambiguity and holding the line on prioritization when everything feels urgent.
- You lead with context, not directives.
- A people manager who has led at least 1–2 PMs through full product cycles, including roadmap ownership, stakeholder alignment, and performance calibration
- Clinically credentialed or equivalent in depth: MD, PharmD, NP, PA, RN, MPH, or 5+ years embedded in clinical health IT or real-world evidence
- Experienced shipping B2B data products to healthcare or life sciences buyers, with demonstrable ownership of outcomes — not just delivery
- Fluent in clinical data standards (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, RxNorm) and their practical implications for product design and data quality
- A strong communicator who can adjust register for clinical SMEs, engineering leads, and executive stakeholders without losing precision
- Energized by complexity and comfortable making consequential tradeoffs in ambiguous environments
