The Asset Growth & Management Product Group is responsible for helping our clients maintain and build their wealth with cryptocurrency. From staking to custody solutions, we ensure that our clients have access to a diverse range of tools to help our users grow and manage their assets effectively.
The opportunity
- Contribute to the development of the overall product strategy and roadmap for Earn (staking and yield products)
- Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals to deepen engagement of Kraken clients
- Incorporate client feedback to continuously enhance the Earn experience for clients; translate this feedback into engineering action items
- Perform research and competitive analysis to gain market insights for potential product improvements
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Finance, Operations and Product stakeholders to develop and steer product strategy and roadmaps
- Write PRDs and actively manage product backlog, pre planning, prioritization and user story mapping sessions; effectively prioritize new features vs. tech debt
- Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements were understood and implemented as requested
- Develop product documentation, specifications, wireframes, site-maps, and process flows
Skills you should HODL
- 2+ years experience working as a Product Manager or similar role in a technology company
- Interest and understanding of cryptocurrency, staking, DeFi, and related crypto market trends
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, other technical or analytical fields, or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal, including having a strong voice in driving collaboration and managing priorities
- Intellectual curiosity, honesty, and humility. Desire to learn new skills and also share expertise.
- Solution oriented, highly-motivated and proactive self-starter with first-principles thinking.
- Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with obsessive attention to detail.
