Job Overview
As a Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in software development projects by engaging with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for software development projects. Analyse and translate business needs into clear and actionable software requirements. Work closely with business leaders to ensure that software development initiatives align with overall business goals and objectives. Provide insights on how technology can support and enhance business processes. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and software development teams Facilitate communicationand understanding to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements. Develop detailed and well-defined user stories, use cases,and acceptance criteria for software development projects. Collaborate with development teams during sprint planning and execution. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications,and system workflows. Ensure documentation is clear, accessible,and serves as a reference for all stakeholders. Participate in user acceptance testing(UAT)and facilitate resolution of issues identified during testing. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the software development lifecycle. Recommend enhancements to existing systems based on feedback from business users. Identify potential risksand challenges related to business requirementsand work with stakeholders to mitigate them. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Communicate project progress, status,and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner. Foster a collaborative and transparent environment between business and development teams. Facilitate knowledge transfer between business and development teams to enhance mutual understanding. Provide training sessions on new features and functionality to end-users.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field. At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar role within the Forex/FinTech industry. Excellent command of English. Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into clear and actionable software requirements. Experience working closely with business leaders to ensure software development initiatives align with overall business goals and objectives.
