Talpa's Product Team is looking for a seasoned data-driven B2B product manager experienced in strategy, discovery and delivery of highly technical digital products in a cross-functional team setup.

Your mission:

  • Be responsible for the vision, strategy and long-term success of your product area
  • Analyse market and technology trends in the heavy industry and beyond
  • Acquire a deep understanding of Talpa’s overall business strategy and business goals
  • Negotiate, define, track and achieve product outcomes (i.e., leading measures of success that are based on user behaviour) that drive those business goals
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of UX designers, software engineers, data engineers, data scientists and subject-matter experts in product discovery research activities on a continuous basis:
    • Set up a regular cadence of customer interactions
    • Support the definition of customer personas, preparation of customer journey maps
    • Identify and understand opportunities (unmet user needs, pains and gains) that target specific product outcomes, in addition to visualising and structuring the opportunity space
    • Explore multiple solutions to target opportunities, compare and contrast those solutions together with cross-functional team members, identify hidden assumptions of desirability, usability, feasibility and viability, test the most critical of those assumptions, and iteratively discover the best solution
  • Own the delivery roadmap for a product area, and also support the delivery, release, go-to-market, and sales-enablement for those roadmap items

Your profile:

  • You gained at least 4 years of B2B product management experience
  • You have strong business acumen and have demonstrated the ability to drive strategic and commercial decisions around the product
  • You have strong technical know-how and have experience managing complex digital products
  • You are proficient at product analytics and have demonstrated the ability to make data-informed product decisions in the past
  • You have demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functional team members towards a common goal and to influence them without authority over them
  • You have excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in English

Nice to have:

  • Experiencing managing IoT- and SaaS-based products powered by AI
  • Experience building two-sided or multi-sided digital platforms
  • Experience working in high growth-startups before
  • B2-level German skills or above
  • Ability to capture thoughts and ideas in a visual manner
