Kittl

Senior Product Manager, Community (London, hybrid)

3 month

Job Description

Youโ€™ll be establishing the Community team at Kittl, so youโ€™ll have the opportunity to build a product roadmap from scratch, execute on it, iterate, take in learnings, improve, rinse and repeat. Youโ€™ll be as close to the user as you can get, in a consumer product thatโ€™s acquired millions of users over the past 2 years. This is a great opportunity to prove yourself as a user centric PM and have a real impact on product growth metrics in a business thatโ€™s just about to double down on its growth.

Youโ€™ll be leading our new Community team as Senior PM. This team will sit under our Product Growth department, which consists of Acquisition, Activation, and Monetisation product teams. You will form the 4th team in this department - Community. Your team will be responsible for driving user engagement - building habit forming products that increase engagement through strategic product design and a rewarding user experience, like we know it from gaming, or highly engaging learning apps like Duolingo.

Your team will typically consist of several engineers and a product designer onboard.

What youโ€™ll do as a Senior PM at Kittl

  • Setting your team's goals, success metrics and roadmap to align with Kittlโ€™s mission and driving maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and company strategy
  • Completely owning your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance
  • Work closely with design to lead a discovery process to create new features and products that solve customer problems and meet business goals
  • Work closely with engineering to execute the product roadmap and deliver features at rapid pace, that drive user adoption and growth
  • Use and communicate with data to track product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and messaging for new product features
  • Work closely with customers and partners to gather feedback and inform product decisions

What youโ€™ll need to succeed

  • 4+ years of experience in product management with exposure to community driven growth
  • Strong sense for first-principle thinking and a get it done attitude
  • Preferably experience with any high engaging consumer product or gaming products
  • Preferably a technical background: youโ€™re an engineer turned product manager, or you have a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field
  • Proven track record of leading user-centric consumer digital products
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An eye for great UX/UI and good understanding of best practices in product design
  • High analytical acumen along with strong business sense that guides ROI based prioritisation
  • Demonstrated ability to envision and champion a product's journey, communicating effectively with leadership, users, and partners
  • A proactive approach, always ready to initiate and lead projects, with a hands-on mentality
  • Experience spearheading product development from inception to launch and subsequent phases
  • Ability to thrive and deliver in fast-paced, ambiguous situations

Interview Process

  1. Recruiter interview - 30 min
  2. Senior PM interview - 45 min
  3. Case Study - 5 business days to prep at home
  4. Case Study presentation - CEO + Senior PM + Product Designer - 1h
  5. Bar Raiser Interview - 30 min
  6. Offer

Benefits

  • 30 vacation days per year for all employees
  • An allowance of 50 working days per year (10 weeks, if you count the weekends) of fully remote work from anywhere in the world, as long as you maintain common working hours (12pm to 5pm CET)
  • Common working hours are 12pm to 5pm CET, with the rest of your working time being flexible so you can work in a style that suits you best (early riser or a night owl)
  • You'll be working with a truly product-led company with PM's, engineers and designers at the heart of the company
  • More benefits coming later this year as we set up our London office
