What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day operation of one of three product development teams.
- Develop deep, nuanced understanding of our unique product and the expectations of our global community, becoming a subject-matter expert in your team's areas of ownership.
- Partner with business leaders, designers, engineers, and data scientists to ideate, prioritize, plan, and ship impactful features and improvements.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strongly versed in agile methodology and technical ticket writing
- The ability to clearly outline and execute the companyโs product vision
- Strong product intuition and ability to motivate and inspire a team
- A team player who can collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, data science and other cross-functional teammates
- Ability to independently initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Communicate concisely and influence outcomes
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing a product development roadmap and shipping consumer products
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent practical experience
- Track record of working on products with a high quality bar.
- Experience across the entire product lifecycle including: defining product needs, ideation, prioritization, development, pre/post-launch execution including A/B tests and analysis
- Experience running agile teams and processes
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Strong in projecting timelines and building roadmaps
- A passion for helping people meet using technology
