Responsibilities
- Create layouts and graphics that reinforce the brandβs style and voice throughout its visual touchpoints.
- Create mockups for web pages and emails.
- Design icons, illustrations, and infographics.
- Ideate and design promotional themes, including deliverables across web, email, and social media.
- Create and organize production assets.
- Support the advertising and social teams by creating a variety of ad formats and sizes for different mediums.
- Work with the content team on a variety of initiatives: from virtual live events to tutorial videos, blog posts, product launches, and more.
- Participate in weekly critique, review, and planning meetings.
Qualifications
- A strong eye for visual composition, layout, and typography.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing your best design work required to apply.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to effectively take direction and collaborate with creative and art directors, product owners, and other members of the team.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.
- Proficiency with design software: Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Keynote, Google Suite.
- Basic coding knowledge (HTML, CSS), to ensure effective handoff to developers.
- After Effects, motion design, video editing, or 3D experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Universal Audioβs products or music industry knowledge is a plus.
Education/Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years in-house or agency experience.
