Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our B2B platform (web app)
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to validate design and product decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma and comparable tools
- Work independently at the intersection of design, product, and engineering — think beyond individual screens
- Evolve and maintain our design system to ensure consistent user experiences across products
- Visualize complex energy and market data in clear dashboards and workflows
- Actively drive the use of AI within the team: evaluate new tools, optimize workflows with AI, and use vibe-coding approaches to move faster from idea to working prototype
- Co-create new product areas such as Green SPOT, 1-Click PPA, hourly origin certificates, or the integration of battery systems — from concept to launch
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, ideally for B2B SaaS or platform products
- All-rounder mentality: operate confidently at the intersection of design, product, and engineering
- Intrinsic enthusiasm for AI and the ongoing transformation of the workplace
- Practical experience with AI-assisted design and coding tools (e.g., Vibe Coding, AI prototyping, Cursor, v0, Claude)
- Strong Figma skills (components, Auto Layout, prototyping, design tokens)
- Experience with user-centered design, user research, and usability testing
- Confident handling of design systems and component-based design
- Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React) and their constraints
- Basic interest in trading platforms, renewable energy, and energy trading
- Strong portfolio demonstrating data-driven or complex interfaces
- Good imagination and the ability to turn abstract requirements into tangible design concepts
- Independent, structured way of working in a remote environment
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience in the energy sector, FinTech, or marketplace environments
- Knowledge of motion design or micro-interactions
- Experience with data visualization (dashboards, charts, tables)
- Experience with additional design tools beyond Figma (e.g., Framer, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Basic understanding of product management or product ownership
