Job Description
You will be joining our AI-assisted notetaking team and LLM team. The teams work together to augment our users' note-taking, organization, and learning experience, aligning with the broader company's strategic initiatives. Our teams are spread between Asia and Europe. Youโre welcome to work remotely from anywhere within the Asia timezone, with at least 4 hours overlap with the people youโd be working closely with.
About the role:
This is the role for you, if youโre excited to work on the things listed below:
- Prioritize research initiatives throughout the productโs lifecycle, from problem discovery to solution validation.
- Work with stakeholders to clarify research needs, help the team ask the right questions, and draft research proposals.
- Use diverse qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand our usersโ minds. That includes but is not limited to, surveys, interviews, contextual inquiry, card sorting, tree testing, usability testing, participatory design workshops, diary studies, competitor analysis, and literature review.
- Turn research findings into actionable insights. Share them creatively with diverse audiences to foster empathy and inspire change.
- Ensure all research activities comply with ethical standards and respect user privacy.
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
- 2+ years of working experience in UX research
- Empathetic, genuine, curious, and open-minded.
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills.
- A great storyteller capable of explaining and getting buy-ins on your thought process and vision
- An avid note-taker who takes notes everywhere
- A strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods. Experienced in balancing and trade-off between smart, scrappy research and rigor.
- Experiences in AI, education, productivity tools, accessibility, human factors, or product design are not required but are a huge plus.
- Having an interest and appetite for AI, pedagogy, and cognitive psychology concepts is required.

The interview process:
