Project Overview

• We’re developing an AI-powered Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform for senior and assisted living facilities built on Microsoft Azure integrating OpenAI services to streamline clinical workflows, automate documentation, and enhance care delivery.
• The MVP is co-developed with a cloud consultancy using modern, scalable technologies.

Role Overview

• Lead design of intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences across web and tablet interfaces.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and healthcare experts to ensure the platform meets real-world needs and delivers a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centric interfaces for core MVP features including resident dashboards, admissions workflows, medication administration, clinical notes, and compliance dashboards.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Conduct user research and usability testing with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
• Translate complex healthcare workflows into simple UI patterns.
• Collaborate with frontend developers using React or Angular to ensure design fidelity.
• Contribute to future roadmap features such as conversational AI interfaces, family portal and mobile app, predictive alerts, and real-time dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in healthcare or enterprise SaaS.
• Proficiency in responsive design and accessibility standards like WCAG.
• Experience designing for data-heavy applications and complex workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bonus: Experience with conversational UI or AI/ML interfaces and understanding of HIPAA-compliant design principles.

Work Conditions

• This is a contractor position based in the United States with ability to work remotely but may require travel to client site.
