Responsibilities
- Responsible for every aspect of a system's user experience including flow, layout, fields, interactions, and data visualization
- Solve workflow problems and develop new ways to visualize market data
- Figure out client needs for solutions, including unrecognized requirements
- Think on your feet, sketch, present, iterate, and refine ideas with clients
- Gain exposure to diverse client businesses and technologies
- Work onsite with product and development teams alongside a Visual Designer
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Information Architecture with process definition and driving ability
- Hands-on user research, sketching solutions, and wire-framing experience
- Interest and competence in solving real-world business problems
- Experience in fast-paced, collaborative environments
- Effective communication and ability to influence client strategy and perceptions
- Determination and positive attitude to achieve goals over open-ended investigation
- Resourcefulness and independence
- Preferred undergraduate or graduate degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or design-related field
Desired Experience and Skills
- Experience designing complex, interactive, transactional, enterprise-level expert systems
- Knowledge of and strong interest in global financial markets and financial products
