Responsibilities
- Write, test, and iterate clear and concise UI content for e-learning localization product experiences
- Drive consistency in new and existing interaction patterns
- Serve as a thought leader in UX writing, contribute to best practices, and advocate for a user-first approach
- Document and maintain UX writing styles and standards across products
- Manage projects from needs assessment to implementation
- Conduct audits, identify patterns, lead brainstorming sessions to design optimal user experiences
- Ensure strategic alignment of UX writing with product principles and brand voice
- Develop scalable frameworks that align with global user needs and business goals
- Leverage user research, A/B testing, and analytics to refine UX copy and optimize interactions
- Collaborate with researchers, product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders for cohesive experiences
- Communicate productively with visual thinkers and advocate for your point of view
- Work cross-functionally to build experiments, develop hypotheses, and test plans
- Foster a culture of collaboration with constructive feedback and open dialogue
- Mentor junior team members to support quality and career growth
- Track and share project plans, progress, and challenges with manager and collaborators
- Demonstrate professional, positive, and proactive communication with peers
- Invest in team success by pitching in, following up, and following through
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a UX Writer with deep understanding of user-centered design principles
- Strong preference for localization experience
- Familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini/Bard is a plus
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment
- Ability to use empathy, logic, and data to inform design choices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including presenting research to stakeholders and leadership
- Passion for building accessible, inclusive, quality products and evangelizing those practices
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, resilient, reliable, optimistic, and great team player
- Ability to collaborate closely with technical writers, product designers, product managers, and engineers
