Key Responsibilities
- Design and build visually consistent digital updates and pages within WordPress, ensuring brand alignment, usability, and responsive performance.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to translate brand strategy and creative direction into digital assets and marketing experiences.
- Create compelling visuals for web, email, social media, and campaigns using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.).
- Manage updates and optimizations in HubSpot, including landing pages and templates for marketing campaigns.
- Apply design principles—typography, hierarchy, spacing, and balance—to ensure every touchpoint is crafted with clarity and intention.
Design Craft & Brand Stewardship
- Champion high design standards—maintaining strong attention to detail in layout, typography, spacing, and composition.
- Evolve and extend Lumin’s design system and digital component libraries within Figma.
- Contribute to maintaining the visual integrity of the Lumin brand across digital channels, ensuring consistency with guidelines while advocating for innovation and refinement.
- Support the production of visual assets for presentations, events, and other brand-driven initiatives as needed.
Collaboration & Initiative
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, content, and development teams to deliver projects efficiently and on-brand.
- Manage personal workload and deadlines using project management tools (e.g., Asana) with clear communication and accountability.
- Proactively identify opportunities for design improvement, process optimization, and visual storytelling.
- Participate in design critiques, providing and receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative, growth-minded environment.
- Bring curiosity and openness to collaboration, helping strengthen team processes and creative outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in digital design or marketing design.
- Expertise in Figma, WordPress, HubSpot, and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects) required.
- Strong grasp of digital design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and accessibility.
- Proven ability to design and implement updates directly in WordPress—balancing creative vision with technical practicality.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or B2B technology industries.
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting and visual optimization.
- Experience working within or contributing to brand design systems.
- Knowledge of UX principles, SEO considerations, and analytics tools for iterative design improvement.
