About the Role
- Become part of the international UX Research and design team within the product organization.
- Conduct generative, formative, and summative research to understand customer needs and inform product strategy and problem definition.
- Continuously test deliverables to ensure the right solutions are brought to market.
- Collaborate with different product teams using top-notch research skills and strategic mindset.
Your Impact
- Proactively plan and execute customer research throughout design and development lifecycle.
- Employ a wide range of research methods including design research, workshops, interviews, usability studies, surveys, and data analytics.
- Develop relationships across the company to collect existing research and collaborate on end-to-end research.
- Lead empathy and design-thinking workshops to translate insights into product goals and direction.
- Share customer insights creatively to increase customer empathy.
- Help non-research colleagues improve their research practice.
Your Qualifications
- Significant professional research experience.
- Strong track record of qualitative and preferably quantitative results impacting product strategy and development.
- Large toolkit of research methods with ability to choose rigor or lean approach.
- Ability to collaborate with designers, product managers, and software developers.
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills to distill complex ideas.
Standout Qualities
- Experience with stakeholder management.
- Experience with B2B SaaS tools and international workplaces.
- Experience facilitating design thinking workshops.
- Visualization skills such as journey mapping for research purposes.
Team Dynamics
- Product design team includes product designers, UX researchers, design system architects, and managers distributed across locations with hubs in Prague and Cyprus.
- Work in cross-functional product teams with research serving as a centralized function on product aspects.
- Researchers conduct studies and oversee PMs and designers' research practices.
- Continuous improvement of research practices and operations to make research more effective.
