Responsibilities
- Define and articulate a company-wide UX vision and north star, ensuring a unified product experience across all surfaces, audiences, and workflows.
- Drive the UX strategy, setting long-term priorities, frameworks, and principles that guide product direction and innovation.
- Empower a culture shift toward a design-led product development, embedding design principles, customer insights, and experience outcomes into roadmaps and prioritization frameworks.
- Build organizational alignment around experience principles, customer needs, and the value of design-led decision making.
- Serve as a strategic partner to product and engineering leadership, influencing roadmaps, investment decisions, and customer outcomes through a clear UX perspective.
- Strengthen the role of research and insights, ensuring they guide product decisions and help the company anticipate customer needs, not just react to them.
- Evolve and scale the UX organization, shaping team structure, roles, and operating models that support a high-performing, strategic design function.
- Evangelize the value of design systems and experience standards as foundational components of a scalable, cohesive product ecosystem.
- Represent UX at the executive level, advocating for the customer and guiding the company toward decisions that create long-term value and differentiation.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of UX or product design experience, including 5+ years leadership experience guiding teams and shaping product strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to set a UX vision, influence executive stakeholders, and lead strategy for complex SaaS ecosystems.
- Experience driving UX strategy in data-rich or highly technical domains; cybersecurity familiarity is a plus.
- Proven ability to create cross-functional alignment and elevate UX as a strategic function within an organization.
- Deep knowledge of user experience, interaction design, and research practices, with an emphasis on strategic application over execution.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, capable of framing UX opportunities and influencing senior leaders.
- A body of work or leadership narrative that demonstrates impact on product direction, organizational culture, and customer experience.

- Estimated total compensation range is $300,000 - $350,000 in the US, and $350,000 - 400,000 in NYC (base plus bonus).
