As an Instructor Lead, you will be teaching in General Assemblyβs User Experience Design Immersive course. In this immersive educational experience, students engage in the user experience design process, developing the skills and portfolio of a junior practitioner. Skills and Qualifications
- Eager to shape the skills of the newest generation of UX designers.
- 2+ years of experience in user experience design.
- Fluency in topics: Figma, UX Process, User Research, Usability Testing, and more.
- Bachelorβs degree or 10 years of applicable experience.
- Strong decision-making abilities and teaching effectiveness skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Teach and facilitate in-class instruction Monday-Friday for 10-14 weeks.
- Commit hours per week preparing lessons and materials.
- Work closely with co-instructors to provide meaningful feedback.
- Guide students through developing a final project.
- Facilitate a dynamic, collaborative classroom community.
