Job Description
- Develop and maintain the Design System, including UI kits and guidelines.
- Ensure visual consistency across products and digital interfaces.
- Create clear, practical documentation for component usage.
- Conduct interface audits to identify standardization opportunities.
- Collaborate with developers to validate technical feasibility of implementations.
- Manage the component backlog and its ongoing evolution.
- Research trends and best practices related to Design Systems.
- Participate in defining processes and governance for the Design System.
- Apply practical UX knowledge, including Design Sprints and Personas.
Requirements
- Degree in Design, UX/UI, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Experience creating and maintaining Design Systems and UI kits.
- Proficient with Figma, including componentization and developer handoff.
- Knowledge of Design System automation and integration with code repositories using tools such as Storybook and Chromatic.
- Strong visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, color), plus experience and knowledge of accessibility.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to work with development teams.
- Proactive, with good communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
