Responsibilities
- Build the infrastructure that powers the research practice: automated recruitment systems, a unified participant pool, and a searchable & actionable insights repository.
- Consolidate fragmented user data into a single source of truth for targeted recruitment.
- Define and own the research roadmap in collaboration with product and design leads.
- Triangulate insights from user research, product analytics, market signals, and support to provide actionable recommendations.
- Shape n8n's research practices through templates, playbooks, and methodologies.
- Mentor cross-functional teams to run their own studies and evangelize research across the company.
- Use AI and n8n as tools to amplify research impact.
Requirements
- n8n power user: confident in using n8n in daily workflow.
- Research expertise: 5-7 years in UX research with strong mixed-methods skills.
- Experience building research infrastructure: recruitment, participant databases, community management.
- Strategic mindset: scope needs and connect research to business outcomes.
- Mentor & coach: capable of elevating others' research capabilities.
- Communication & influence: skilled at translating findings into narratives that influence teams.
- AI-savvy researcher: hands-on AI experience with a strong ethical perspective.
- Understanding of GDPR and research ethics with hands-on compliance experience.
Nice-to-haves
