Job Description
Work to support the UX vision and strategy established by project leadership in alignment with business objectives. Apply human-centered design techniques to understand what people really need. Design and communicate design deliverables including customer journeys, service blueprints, user personas, artifacts, scenarios, data visualizations and service models in support of our partnerβs needs. Plan and execute user research and participatory design to inform iterations and generate validated UX designs. Ideate to discover and develop designs and solve user experience problems as identified by your project team. Work as part of a team to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to describe, communicate, and test proposed user experiences. Review designs with quality assurance and development teams to answer questions and support successful implementation. Assist in the collection, management and analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data, and advise leadership in prioritizing projects to have the most positive impact on the organization. Clearly communicate human centered design process and rationale of decisions with internal and external stakeholders.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in design, human computer interaction, business, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field.
- 8+ years of applied UX design experience in the software industry.
- 8+ years of extensive understanding of HCD principles including but not limited to user research, user needs, user feedback and workflows.
- Must provide and present a portfolio demonstrating your design process and deliverables such as wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes.
- Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US.
- Candidate must have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal public trust.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level AA / Section 508 compliance preferred.
- 10+ years of overall professional experience preferred.
- Masterβs degree in design, human computer interaction, business, computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field.
- Experience in federal contracting or healthcare IT preferred.
- Active or past clearance to work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services or the US Department of Health and Human Services.
